The history...
Family roadtrips, as I grew up, inspired me to travel and led to my curiosity about the rest of the world. I've been an explorer at heart for most of my life. At the University of Missouri, Columbia, as I pursued my travel career passion, I worked in a variety of jobs on campus that gave me a solid introduction to the industry. Soon after graduating with my bachelors degree in Travel and Tourism, I attended the International Guide Academy and also became certified in the travel industry. Soon after, a full time position at Maritz Travel Company gave me my official career beginning, and Johnny Travels LLC was formed in 2004, 6 years after I had already been working full time managing corporate events.
Today, after 20 years on the road full time, I've helped hundreds of corporate events be better than anticipated, and I've been to 65 different countries and islands, and every state in the Union. Put my years of travel experience to work for your company!
